Some forums have a thing at the bottom that show the past 5 posts or so. Makes it easier to get in on the action without hunting down where the new posts are.

New post is in the nav bar.

I know what you're talking about though.

Default Info to get us started

Well, speaking for the people that are new or just getting into rally, how about a section that the veterans of the sport could put together for the FNGs. I've been messing around on www.fia.com and the new york rally sites (which aren't that well laid out IMO) and there's not that much information I can find for people just getting into the sport. www.fia.com has alot of .pdfs on required modifications but nothing that shows a good map of everything a car would need to be legal for rallying.

Maybe a section that has information like
-Getting your license
-mods required for rallying(do different events require different mods?)
-good list of sites for people to check out rally products

Anything that might help a new rally goer get his vehicle dirty!

Shoot me now if this already exists.

Step 1, Find your local events.
Step 2, Sign up to work the event as a marshal.
Step 3, Work the events until you understand all the timing, layout, etc.
Step 4, Buy helmet, suit, hans
Step 5, Find right seat, (Will make you a better driver)
Step 6, repeat steps 1-6 as needed :)
Step 7, At this point you will know what to do!
Rally on!

Just an idea to expand on the thoughts above: Until we have more traffic in each section, especially because some sections go weeks without posts, several areas could probably be condensed into a "car build" or "construction zone" section. Build up sections are often the most popular area's on other rally type forums.

Possibly donations reaching certain levels can be rewarded with stickers, shirts, etc...

I just read on a paper I got at LSPR that FNG's can't run turbos.
