Default New guy from El Paso, TX

Hello all, my name is Duncan and I am an avid autoxer in El Paso, TX. I currently race in the Tires grouping, STU class. My DD is my 06 Evo IX. I've been into Rally for oh a good 15 years, which is one of the reasons I fell in love with and bought an Evo.

This is how she currently looks:

I've yet to really do anything "interesting" on the dirt in my Car, just a bit of offroad driving when I got her and sadly with the suspension work I've done for Auto-X i doubt I'll get my chance to really play in the dirt in this car (as I would assume 12kg/16kg PPS9's would be far too stiff for romping in the dirt). Happily enough though, I may get to play in the dirt in Nathan's DSM over in Tuscon in the future.

Whale cum!

Yes too stiff and too low for real enjoyment. Doable though! Heck, if you get a change to play with 9!'clipseDOHC's DSM (Nathan), then maybe you would change your mind and modify for some off-road use ;)

Rally vents and blacked-out rear windows. FTW! Love the look.

Welcome.

Glad you joined Duncan! Hopefully you can go to Tucson with me in July for the Rallyx! I will have the gravel tires on by then thanks to JT (Iowa999)!

Duncan is also a computer genius so he will be helping me with some of the site stuff like updating to a more secure version of vbulletin and backing things up. I'm just a simple Mac user ;)

Thanks all! Yeah hopefully in July I just need to get alot of points with my wife before the event lol. Before you switch your tires I may need to do a bit of practice out on your side of town Nathan lol.

Well then lets go once I get the rally tires on because I want to see how they feel too! They should be here on Thursday and I will get them mounted the same day (unless My wife is in labor, of course!).
