Default WRC on Tv

So ever since the Speed channel was bought by fox and changed to foxsports 1, I've had a definite lack of motorsports in my life. My lamentations are over now as I found a channel today that carries WRC and British RallyCross!

http://www.mavtv.com/wrc-live

Is the link for the WTC section of the site, there's also a section that will give you availability for your local area based off your zip code.

I'm curious to know what they're actually streaming. All of the live WRC coverage is done through the online WRC+ subscription service, as well as (AFAIK) television broadcasting channels in parts of the world who actually care about the sport. Both of these options require an actual paid subscription, so it doesn't really make sense that they'd allow MAVTV to just stream it for free through YouTube.

I can highly recommend WRC+ though, after using it for the past few years.

I just happened to look up the channel when I saw ice motorcycle racing from overseas while I was waiting for a haircut

It's actually a cable channel. Sorry if the weblink was misleading. Guess that kinda clears that up...

So as it turns out the channel is owned by Lucas Oil which for a number of years had run Lucas Oil on the Edge. Which showcased numerous obscure motorsports Swamp buggies anyone?!? But that's an idea for another time. So going to show obscure motorsports isn't really out of their MO. Looking at the line up it seems very familiar to the old speed channel lineup. But I really like all motorsports and once I get settled will keep people informed of the coverage

I have been hesitant on the WRC.TV because I do not know how often I would be paying attention to it. Guess I will have to give that a try if the MAVTV don't work.
