The 93rd running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb took place on June 28, 2015 in Colorado Springs, CO. This year there were only a couple of Evo's competing and unfortunately the 2g DSM that we were looking forward to watching had some issues and didn't end up making the climb.

2012 SCCA Rallycross National Championships photo winningSCCArallycrossNC.jpg

Warren was one of the original members of DirtyEvo.com and has been an active member since 2009. He was the 2011 SCCA RallyX M4 National Champion and 2012 SCCA RallyX PA National Champion driving his 2006 Evo IX SSL. He brings a lot of experience to our forum and I hope you will enjoy getting to know him better through the below interview.

How long have you been participating in Rallyx events?
My first event was in January 2005 and I won.

Tell us a little bit about your car and what you've done to it.
My car is a 2006 Evo IX SSL with the following mods: Works mail in chip, 3" I'd turbo back exhaust with HFC, adjustable rear sway bar, Bilstein HD struts revalved by Bilstein for rallyX, TRF skid plate, small brake kit with 15" rally tyres, Exedy clutch, HD pressure plate, and LTW flywheel.

Have you raced other cars in the past? If so how do they compare to your current Evo?
I have a 2001 Audi A4 MA rallyx car I built in '07. It is a little more nimble and lighter than the Evo but minus about a 100 ponies.

Any advise for members just getting into Rallyx?
Seat time and go to school, O'Neils and Evolution. Have your local hot shoe ride with you and tell you what you are missing.

Do you have any other hobbies or interests besides Rallyx?
I used to road race with AMA Pro on a Ducati. National Champion with APBA in a stock Drag boat. Used to Hillclimb with NEHA.

Are you planning on attending the 2013 RallyX national championship?
I will be at Tulsa. I am on the SCCA RXB. I built the fastest car at the 2012 SCCA Rallyx nationals and my codriver and I took home 2 championships with it, along with Brianne becoming the first woman to win.
